Being brought up in a racing family, he took up driving as soon as he was old enough. Shayne started competing in chariot racing in 1998 and the wagons in 2000. I'm sure his Dad, Wayne, gave him many important tips on how to win a race. Shayne's sense of humor and quick wit keeps everyone of their toes, wondering what he will do or say next.
